About this Cook
My name is Beth. I'm 26 and have been an Army cook for 4 years. I've always loved to cook but just realized my passion for it, especially cupcakes. Trying to start my own cupcake business and now going to school to get a degree in nutrition science then on to get my masters in food and nutrition science.
My favorite things to cook
By far cupcakes are my favorite. If it's in season and I can get my hands on it I will put it in a cupcake, most likely a whole wheat one...

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
Amazing cookie. I only used 1/2 teaspoon vanilla because I used 1/2 teaspoon mint to give the cookies a slight minty flavor. I also only used 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips. Cookies were cooked for 20 minutes to turn golden brown. All personal changes so all in all a great cookie and it will definately be made again and again.

Sweet Potato Gnocchi
I only gave this 2 stars just because it was the first time that I tried this and it didn't turn out at all. The potatoes that I thought were sweet potatoes ended up being purple potatoes and I think thats part of the reason it didn't turn out. They were really soft and not at all like the gnocchi that my boss had made. Sad it didn't turn out but I know that if I keep working at it these they would be amazing. Great idea...

Best Whole Wheat Chocolate Chippers
Love these cookies.... I added hazelnut instead of vanilla and used carob chips instead also only used about half of the sugar. Had to cook the cookies for about 15 minutes. They turned out great and they will now be my go to cookies. Thanks for this recipe.
