Quick and Easy Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2015
This definitely lives up to it's name with great flavor. I used Spanish peanuts. The sugar butter combination melted at around 10 - 12 minutes and the parchment paper made for an easy cleanup. I will be making this again and I'll add about 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

I'll have to admit, this was pretty good. Grand Daughter loved it. I can see why the chef apologized. Thank you for sharing this KITTIBOESEL.

Avocado Watermelon Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2015
A simple, flavorful and refreshing salad perfect for the warmer summer months. *Update* I used Tajin in place of the paprika and this recipe is even better.

Cheesy Salsa Mac

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2015
Delicious gooey comfort food with a spicy kick. I used homemade salsa/pico de gallo and substituted Nacho Cheese Sauce (found here on Allrecipes) in place of the Velveeta only because I'm not a fan of the taste. Please excuse me while I go and have another bowl.

Easy Peezy Sweet Toasted Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2015
I'm basing my review on this recipe as written. Hawaiian bread is already sweet. The sugar just adds to the sweetness which results in sweet cheese. I made half with the sugar and half without. Without the sugar this is easily a 4 star recipe. I served these on half rolls topped with the cheese. I will make these again without the sugar.

Easy to make 5 star recipe whether you use it as a meal or an appetizer. I used all buffalo ranch, a mixture of Sriracha and Ranch dressing. Use a pizza cutter to make slices.

Sodium content is high. I even used the lowest sodium Spam I could find along with a low sodium chili.

Easy Wakame Brown Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2015
This worked great as a side dish with the nutty flavors of the brown rice and toasted sesame seeds. If you feel that this rice dish is bland just squeeze some lime juice in it or add some Sriracha.

Wholewheat Tuna Treat

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2015
Wow! I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of this. My first thought was maybe it needed some kind of dressing but the avocado came through with the perfect amount of creaminess. When the bulgar wheat was finished cooking it looked like a bit too much so I added just enough for a good balance with the tuna. Served on a bed of baby spinach for a perfect summertime treat.

The bell pepper serves as a edible egg ring in this colorful breakfast. This breakfast is easily adaptable no matter how you like your eggs.

Slow-Cooker Posole

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2015
This was easy to make and was done in 6 hours which resulted in melt in your mouth pork. Although the sauce was not specified so I used a verde sauce. I also used chicken broth in place of the water. I'll add a little more cayenne next time.

Grilled Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2015
Absolutely perfect for summertime grilling. This easy to make 5 star recipe was a hit here during a BBQ without heating up the kitchen. The only change I would make is to double up on the bacon.

Sriracha Pickled Eggs

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2015
Great googly moogly these are good! I used Sriracha's Chili Garlic Sauce, made by the same company, in place of the milder Sriracha. I even used 1/2 cup of the sauce. This recipe is an absolute keeper. These would work in various salads, sandwiches or even used for deviled eggs. Thank you LilSnoo. *Update* I followed the recipes as written except this time I used the entire 8 oz. jar of Chili Garlic Sauce. PERFECT!

Lemon Pepper Rubbed Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2015
The best lemon pepper ribs I've tasted! These ribs are perfect for those that are looking for a rib recipe that doesn't have sauce slathered all over them. I used soaked apple wood chips for the smoking.

Microwave Roux

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2015
While this may be goof proof make sure you use a bowl specifically for microwave use. I found the oil to flour ratio in this recipe to be of a thin consistency. The flour to oil should be at least equal proportions. The initial 6 minutes on 70% power (1000 watt microwave) resulted in a blond roux.
