My favorite things to cook
Hmm, tough question. Well, I do love the aroma of onion, garlic, and spices. I think I mainly like to cook for the aromas, now that I think of it.
I have enjoyed a few classes in vegetarian Indian cuisine, and so of course I love the aromas -- and tastes -- characteristic of that.
My cooking triumphs
Um... right now, there's nothing that really stands out, which is probably because we keep it simple around here. I guess a 'triumph' would be that people will still eat food I prepare...

Fudge!
I finally mastered the art of making really great fudge. But, since it's too addictive and I'm the one who tends to eat it all, I don't repeat that triumph very often.
My cooking tragedies
I will never forget the baking soda biscuits that were supposed to be baking POWDER biscuits. Oh well. I wear glasses, now, so I can read recipes better. And, for the record, I've been remarried for over 25 years... it was my EX husband who said, 'What did you DO to the BISCUITS?!
