About this Cook
I like to cook from scratch as much as possible. I like knowing what ingredients are going into my food and being able to pronounce them.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake bread. Store bought just doesn't compare.
My cooking tragedies
Baking cakes is my cooking tragedy. I hope to remedy that. The last cake I baked was a birthday cake and it fell apart. I tore the cake into pieces and layered it in a trifle dish with mixed berries, peach jello, and whipped topping. I put a candle on top.

Mom's Baked Egg Muffins
Easy breakfast. Cute presentation. I omitted the maple syrup as I don't like sweet eggs. Have made it with crumbled bacon, diced ham and no meat, all variations are good. My kids really like them.

Traditional Gyro Meat
Good flavor. I press the meat firmly into the pan before cooking. After cooking I let the meat rest refrigerator for 1 day then slice the meat into 1/8" thin strips with an electric knife.
