I previously stayed away from trying to cook this and opted to purchase chicken fried steak from restaurants. Well, not anymore. One of the best breading recipes I have come across for chicken fried steak. The crust was crispy and seasoned and I even got the gravy right. Tip to everyone saying that it is bland... one of the first lessons of frying anything is to season the meat first. Otherwise, you have seasoned breading with tasteless meat. And always season to YOUR taste.
