Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
This was good! Pretty easy and basic mac and cheese. I did have to season it a bit- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp salt and pepper, 1/2 tbsp onion powder.

Sassy Tailgate Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
Love these! It's a great party dish! I love that you can make a bunch ahead of time and then just pop in the oven when you're ready for them! They even reheat well the next day in the microwave. Have made these quite a few times now!

Moist and Savory Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
Loved it! This is a great quick recipe! I followed the directions except I mixed the ingredients in a casserole dish with an egg and baked in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. We like the crispiness the top gets and the egg makes it richer. This will be my go to stuffing recipe for a quick side dish!

Quick and Flavorful Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
These were really good carrots! I did add about a tablespoon of butter at the end of cooking them. I really like the flavor booster and look forward to trying on different veggies like zucchini and green beans.

Great recipe! I used leftover mashed potatoes, so the prep time was cut down. Served with biscuits. The whole family loved it and went back for seconds!

We loved these potatoes! There is so much flavor cooking the potatoes in the chicken broth! No need to add extra butter and cream. Will be using the recipe often!

Octoberfest Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
So delicious! I made this in a slow cooker, on low for 7-8 hours. I followed the ingredients exactly, except I used 2 cups of beer (a porter) and left out the beef stock. I added some baby carrots the last 2 hours of cook time so they didn't get too mushy. Served with some mashed potatoes and gravy made from the beef juices. The family really liked this one! Will definitely make again!!

Corn Chowder IV

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2012
Love this recipe! I made half of the recipe and it was perfect for the 3 of us and we had leftover for all of us for lunch the next day. I think it may have been better the next day too! I did add about half a cup of diced red pepper, but that was the only change made. Delicious soup, definitely a keeper!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2012
This was a fantastic pumpkin bread! The whole family loved it and it disappeared quickly. I made half a batch which was perfect for one loaf (wish I made the whole batch now!) Only thing I did differently was to add a tsp of vanilla to the half batch. Wonderful! Thank you!!

Progresso® Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
This was a very good creamy chicken enchilada recipe. The only change I made was to add some hot pepper sauce to the filling mixture. I did have an issue with the enchiladas sticking to my dish even after generously spraying with non-stick spray. I topped with diced onion, sliced olives, tomatoes, and cilantro. Would definitely make this one again!

Pulled Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
This was just ok. I even tweaked the seasonings a little after reading other reviews. Instead of just chili powder I used a bbq seasoning which had the chili powder in it too. I don't care for coleslaw much, so I topped with pickles. I probably will not make this again, but I do think the Fire Roasted Tomato sauce would be best used in a pasta dish, so I'll try that next time.

Cornbread Stuffing with al fresco® Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
This was a really good stuffing! Very quick and easy, plus a nice change of pace from the standard stuffing. I didn't add any cranberries (none on hand) and I used the Al Fresco breakfast sausage. I will definitely make this one again, great side dish!
