Happy Halloween Y'all! I don't know about anyone else, but October was CRAZY busy! And with Halloween the kick off to the holiday season...I fear it won't be any less crazy here! So, with that said, why not kick off the holiday season in style and throw a little shindig to celebrate… MORE

About this Cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to get in the kitchen with my mom and my grandma :) I always learn something new from them and they taught me that cooking from scratch is a dying tradition that I need to keep going before it is lost. I also love to share my cooking space with my son! It's amazing how cooking can be so special and bring about a new bond!
My cooking triumphs
The day I got my Thanksgiving stuffing to taste like mom's- I nearly cried!!!
My cooking tragedies
Tragedies? What tragedies ;)

Strawberry Ice Cream Dessert
This was so simple and really good! An easy way to make ice cream just a bit more special! I can't wait to play around with different ice cream flavors with this!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Brownies
These were so good! The texture was really smooth and the peanut butter flavor was very prevalent! My family loved these!

Grits, Sausage, and Egg Casserole
This is such a delicious way to make grits! All of the ingredients are perfectly balanced! I did add a touch of salt while cooking the grits and saved a bit of cheese to top the casserole. Baked perfectly in 45 minutes for me. Will be making this again! Would be great for company and brunch!
