Who thought something so simple could taste this good... The perfect summer breakfast. I used Honey bunches of oats, just bunches and small chunks of apple. The variations are endless with this recipe. Thank you for sharing...

Irish Pound Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
Thank you Grandma O'Grady for such a wonderful recipe (Grandma's are just the best cooks!!!), and appreciate you sharing it Maryann. This cake is just so rich and moist (although I guess any recipe that uses 6 large eggs and a cup of butter is going to be luxurious!!!). I actually choose this recipe as I needed to use up some cream cheese and loved the fact it was an newly published one. The only thing I will say is to watch the bake time, my oven needed less than the hour. Now that I have this wonderful recipe I plan to play around with all combinations of flavors...

Artichoke and Roasted Red Pepper Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
I was looking through my recipe box trying to find a different quiche recipe to try when I remembered I had saved this not so long ago. I followed the recipe exactly, did not change a thing. I baked in my Pampered Chef pie dish (although I did have to cook for a further 20 minutes, I have noticed that dishes seem to take longer in stoneware). Very good creamy taste and I loved the Artichoke and Roasted peppers, just that little bit different from all the other quiche recipes out there. Thank you for sharing Judy!

Kitchen Sink Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
Oh My goodness ~ WARNING, do not even think about baking these if you don't want to turn into the cookie monster!!! Seriously they are the most delicious cookie, I followed the recipe exactly other than using heaths toffee pieces in place of the butterscotch chips as I did not have any. I doubled the size of the cookie and cooked for an additional 5 minutes. I only baked half of the cookie dough and the other half I made into balls and froze on a cookie sheet to bake off at later date (got a feeling that my be very soon!!) The cookies looked just as good as they tasted, just the right amount of cracks... This really will be my most used cookie recipe now and to think it was just the name that first attracted me to this recipe!!!

Graham Cracker Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
Delicious cookies ~ Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. This sounds crazy that I am writing a review for graham cookies when I did not use the graham crackers. Honestly I wanted to but could not find them in the pantry, had a clear out last week when I did a sell by date check and thought I must have thrown them away then, but once I put all the ingredients I had used back in the pantry, found them in the wrong place!!! Anyway back to the cookies, I used a mixture of chocolate chips and heaths toffee pieces. I cooked half of the cookies and then froze half as dough balls to bake at a later date, love these cookies and can't wait to try them next time with the cracker crumbs!!!!

Brie’s Very Vanilla Dog Treats

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
These dog biscuits require the use of Wheat flour which some dogs are sensitive to, if so its so easy to modify this recipe, simply substitute one cup of wheat flour for 1-1/4 cup of rye or oat flour or ¾ cup, rice, barley or potato flour.

Carrot Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
I made these muffins today and love how they use apple sauce to make a more healthy muffin. I think that if I make these again I will double the amount of pumpkin pie spice, just to give it that little bit extra bite!

Double Orange Scones

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I fell in love with the Orange Scones from Panera Bread and was wanting to find a similar recipe. I have had this in my box for a little while before finally giving it a try. Oh my goodness these were so delcious. I did make a few changes, I used 2 cups AP flour (had no whole wheat flour to hand) Doubled the amount of sugar and omitted the Orange peel (not a fan). I rolled out the dough and cut into 8 medium rounds. I glazed the top with a little beaten milk and egg and baked on my Pampered Chef Large stoneware bar pan for 20 minutes, until golden brown. So delicious, I will be baking these again and again! Thank you so much for sharing

Oh goodness this is so delcious. It was so moist and light with the most wonderful lime flavor. Who would have thought this came from a couple of boxes... I used vanilla fat free pudding mix as that was all I had to hand. I know I will be making this again soon. Thank you so much for sharing.

Easy Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly, only difference was that I used mini chocolate chips. I never got to taste this cake as I gave it as a hostess gift, but I was told it was excellent. It was certainly very easy to make, and smelt delicious!

Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
I can't believe that it was only a few weeks ago since I discovered pumpkin puree. Now I am addicted and this recipe is perfect to feed that craving!!! I followed the recipe exactly, did not change a thing. For me it was the cinnamon cream cheese frosting that just finished this recipe off. So delicious, I know I will be making these again...
