Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
What a perfect meal to warm you up at the end of a cold day outside! The house smelled fabulous!! I put it on low at noon and dinner was ready at 6. The only change I made was that I added a little red wine to the onions while they were softening and I also added a small can of tomato paste which I think made it perfect!!

BBQ Chicken Pizza II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
Do yourself a favor and either make a fresh dough yourself or go to the local pizzeria and buy some dough. It was so much better than the pre made crust. Just use plenty of flour and shape the dough to the size and thickness you want. Other than that it was very easy to make and it was full of flavor! Everyone loved it and I made it again for New Year's Eve. As soon as it came out of the oven... it was gone!

Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
It really wasn't that GREAT. It was a little bland and I ended up with a lot of leftovers. Maybe I'll try again, but I'll a little horseradish as others have suggested.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2005
EASY and DELICIOUS!! We now have a new favorite way to make chicken in this house. I lined the pan with aluminum foil and I threw away the mess. We ran out because everyone went back for more helpings even though they weren't hungry, it just tasted delicious. I left the chicken breasts thick and I cooked it for EXACTLY 40 minutes and it was just PERFECT!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2005
There are a lot of ingredients but it was very easy to make. I substituted the pasta shells with miniature ravioli found at my local Italian deli which added a nice taste. I will make it over and over again.

Delicious!! Easy to make and it was a nice change in flavor. I served it with toasted baguette that was flavored with olive oil and a little garlic. We had no leftovers at all!!

BLT Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2005
It could not have been any easier. I made this all summer for the countless number of cookouts we went to. A quick tip for making the bacon is to put it in a large aluminum pan on the BBQ grill for about 25 minutes on medium. It saves the grease and mess in your house in the hot weather. Everyone loved it and I had to constantly double the recipe for larger crouds.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2005
Absolutely Fabulous!!! Very light compared to ziti made with ricotta. Everyone loved it and they ask for it every time we have a gathering. The only change I make is I use homemade tomato sauce. I still have not found a jar sauce I like.

Irresistible Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2004
Excellent pecan pie!! This is one of the best I have ever had. I just added a bit more (crushed)pecans on the top which really filled it up and we had less gooey in the middle and more pecans. I made it for Thanksgiving and it was totally gone within minutes. Everyone ranted and raved about it. I will make it again for Christmas because it was so easy to make and it was absolutely delicious. I used a store bought pie crust to save time and it came out perfect.

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2004
I made this casserole last Thanksgiving and again this year because everyone LOVED it so much!! The only change I made was to add more pecans on top and it comes out perfect every time. Very easy and it is the first dish to disappear. If you are making sweet potatoes, this is the only way to do it!!

Yummy Yam Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2004
This is one of the best dishes we have had for Thanksgiving EVER!!! It was so very easy to make and it was gone within seconds. Last year was the first time we have ever had left over mashed potatoes. Everyone absolutely loved this side dish. I'm glad I was able to come back to this site and find the recipe again for this year. I highly recommend it especially for the holidays.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2004
It did take a long time, but it was well worth the wait. It was full of flavor. The chops were sooooo tender that we didn't even use knives, we were able to cut them with forks!! A huge success in our household, everyone loved them. We will definitely use this recipe over and over again.
