Gumbo Style Chicken Creole

Really good! I added sliced celery, sliced about 5 fresh okra pods from my balcony garden, added a teaspoon of red pepper flakes, added sliced chicken andouille sausage links (2), omitted the sugar, salt, and the mushrooms. Served this over instant white rice (it's all I had), but it was delicious. M said "good, but needs more meat and less veggies" (he's not a fan of "food that my food eats") but he made do. Southwestern Barley Salad

This was so good! As I sit here, trying to eat this and write my review, I desperately wish that I had three hands. I too added a generous dash of cumin, and it was fantastic! I left out the avocado though; unfortunately, mine had gone bad. :( The only change I would make is use lime juice instead of lemon. The lemon juice is good, but the lime would really give it a more "southwestern" flavor. Thanks Tommi, this a keeper!

Pepperoni Pizza Sticks

So delicious! I added Italian seasoning to mine, and sliced black olives. No mushrooms or garlic, I dislike the former and was out of the latter. I too sliced the cheese in half, as a whole stick was a bit too big to wrap nicely. The end result was amazing; the bf devoured them. We dipped ours in arribiatta sauce from Trader Joe's. Yum~!

Summer Pepper Salad

I loved this! I had to use dried parsley, as my little plants have barely spouted any. I used less cheese, and added in 1 orange bell pepper, too.

Dilly Cucumber Salad

Not a fan, there's way too much sugar. I was sad, as when I made this, I was totally craving it. :( Oh well, with some modifications, this could be a great recipe. Thanks for letting me try.

Cheese Lover's Tuna Casserole

Delicious! I added some diced celery, a sprinkle of garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and used breadcrumbs instead of croutons. The bf sampled it and loved it (he hates mushrooms, as do I, but I didn't dare tell him what's in here! He won't even touch cream of mushroom soup, but I can make an exception) Thanks, Elke!

I wasn't a fan of this. I love all the ingredients, but I guess the flavors were all trying to compete for my attention and it overwhelmed me. I might try this again sometime, though. Thanks.

College Student's Saucy Chickpeas

Not sure why my review was deleted. Anywho- this was a good, basic dish. I don't have curry powder, so I used a bit more of the garlic powder, added some crushed red pepper flakes, and a bit of pizza sauce for added flavor. Thanks for the post, YummySmells.

Pepperoni Stuffed Zucchini

I made this for breakfast this morning, and I really enjoyed it. The pepperoni made things a bit greasy, though. I did sprinkle the shell with a dusting of garlic powder before I put the mixture into the shells. Thanks for the recipe.

Fabulous!!! I put this on a piece of toast to try it, and wow! I was totally blown away. I did add the jalapeno (jarred variety), and omitted the salt and pepper at the end. The bf LOVED it. Thanks, Queenreyney, it's a keeper!

I don't know what to make of this. It was interesting, but I don't think it's a repeat recipe. I left out the french-fried onions (didn't have any on hand). It was fun to try something different, thanks GUNNEAU.
