Chef John's Roast Turkey and Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
I loved this turkey very much. I used a bag to cook it though instead of just covering the breast with foil. Very tender!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
I thought, along with my family, that this is the best way to do the traditional "green beans" for Thanksgiving. I do so much like the French's onions though that I chose to use them instead of the butter crumbs the recipe called for for the topping. I got the best of both worlds!

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2011
We loved this recipe. I changed the ranch beans to chili beans and added a can of black beans too with a green pepper chopped up. Used rotell instead of regular tomatoes and topped it off before cooking w/ green onions cheese and black olives.

Grilled Marinated Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2011
Wow this was suprisingly delicious. I thought it might be boring but it was really good. I only had red wine vinegar and I also used minced onion too. I have a in-door grill that sears and it worked really well. Thanks it is hard to find a recipe for fish.

Pork Chop and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
This recipe is great BUT they have come out w/ some really amazing creme soups, ie garlic and mushroom and this is really wonderful as a twist to this recipe. Creme of mushroom by its self is also wonderful. I usually add some seasonings to mine too.

I have always made the recipe that was on the corn syrup bottle. I wanted to try something new this year. OMG!!! I had no problems at all with this recipe, it turned out perfect. This is the best pecan pie I have ever eaten. Thanks for adding Linda!!

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
I think this recipes is very good. I took it to a family reunion and it got devoured!!! I did do some tweaking on it though. I put in 1 TBS of cinnamon, 1/4 t of ground cloves, 1/2 t. of nutmeg and left out all the white sugar( although that was a accident, I was glad I did it was plenty sweet) and added 1/2 C. of walnuts. Warm w/ ice cream and some caramel over it. WOW delish!!!

Apple Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
This recipe was really quite bland and I added more cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Won't be fixing this again.
