	May 17, 2012 \| Marketing Brainstorm Meeting	Norwegian Constitution Day	open-faced sandwich with ricotta, arugula, and fried egg	Some people were really into dipping stuff. Really into it.

My masterpiece - chocolate dipped marshmallow, covered in crushed potato chips.	Dark chocolate and milk chocolate.	Got to have some fun with tempering chocolate and dipping stuff in it.	We started with this delicious plate.	The Lorax themed cupcakes from Trophy Cupcakes

My Favorite Beet Salad

This salad was an easy weeknight addition to our menu. I used store bought roasted beets and arugula instead of spinach. You don't need to use all the dressing in this serving, but save it for another salad later in the week.

Grilled Italian Hamburgers

Instead of sandwiches, I used this hamburger as part of a "naked burger" (no bun) meal idea to serve 4 (changed the serving size). Made a few tweaks w/ingredients I had on hand: used ground turkey instead of ground beef, hot Italian sausage, 3/4 of an onion, 4 garlic cloves and increased the Italian seasoning. These were a hit with my husband, he's already requested I make them again! Very easy to prepare and add/sub out ingredients you have in your fridge.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

This is a GREAT recipe! I used this as a guideline and took the other reviews into consideration - it has become a favorite of my friends. Some things to add: bell peppers and grape tomatoes. Make two batches of the marinade, meat in one batch and veggies in the other. Next time, I'm going to try it with bacon wrapped prawns!
