J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
These biscuits remind me of the ones my dad use to make. I have been looking for a recipe that I could use for gravy and the biscuits would not get soggy. This is it!! I just cut back on the amt. of milk called for and they turn out alot firmer. For dinner I just make them as called for in the recipe. Thanks

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
5+ stars!!! This recipe is what I have been looking for for years, in the past all of my wings have seemed fatty, deep frying them is the key it gives them that crunch you find in the restaurant and the sauce it to die for! Thanks

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
This was a great sauce but, I would have to agree with it does no taste like a true alfredo. Add alot of Parm (Fresh) and it helps. Great base for more experimenting!!!

I made the recipe as directed and it didn't seem to cook the bread properly around the banana chunks.. The second batch I mashed the bananas and it turned out wonderful!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2012
Not a huge fan, I make baked goods for work almost every Monday for 50 people and am known as the best baker. But these cookies remained on my platter for days and half got thrown away. With the amount of butter / choco chips & mints used, they are an expensive alternative to a regular chocolate cookie.

Ham and Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
These were a huge hit. Made 96 of them, first batch I made as the recipe called for. I would agree with the other reviews and mince 1/4c onions, up ham and cheese to 3/4c each. Yum!

This was delicious. Super easy and spicy. Next time I'll try it on chicken and use Pam or olive oil instead of butter.

Ham and Cheese Puffs 2

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
These were delicious and so easy to make. I made the for a meeting at work so I 4x the recipe and they got gobbled up! I would suggest to up the filling by at least half ,cut back on the onion and take in consideration the crescent roles only come 8 to a roll so you only get 16 mini muffins. They are much better cold also, so makes for a great appetizer.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
This was yummy and so easy! I love cream of potato soup but thought it was hard to make, was I wrong. I kept on thinking I forgot a step or ingredient. I was a little confused on the chopped potato as I have not heard that term before, I would have used tiny cubes instead. I did use 3 bouillon cubes in place of the 2 Tbl granules with the vegie's worked out great. As another reviewer noted the flour mixture starts out watery but does thicken so don't stress. Definitely double this recipe!

Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2013
This is a great recipe! Always getting requests to bring this to any type of get togethers. I use half of the ranch otherwise the ranch overpowers the cheese. It makes 2 good size balls or 1 huge ball. Breaking it into two you can change it up with 1 rolled with the pecans and one with bacon bits etc. very versatile.

Pecan Sandies

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2013
These are very good! Makes a ton of cookies. The only thing I changed was 1/2 c white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar as others had suggested. I would advise refrigerating dough in between batches the cookies seem to firm up better. I used a melon baller to scoop the batter, a lot less mess that way
