Garlic and Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
These were excellent! We loved them. I used ground turkey and since my eldest son has developed an onion alergy, I used a couple of tablespoons of dry onion soup mix. Just a quick tip, if you have a griddle, make them on there (400 deg). They were all done at the same time. Great time saver and no over cooking trying to keep them warm.

Parmesan and Broccoli Stuffed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
These are the best mashed potatoes my husband has ever had. I did not stuff potatoes, I mashed red and white baby potatoes. Excellent!

Amazing! Next time I will add the pineapple juice to the syrup instead of all water.

Sorry, I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was not good. I left out the bbq sauce and it still wasn't good.

I did it, I did it, I did it! I made my first pie crust. My friend Shannon sent me this recipe. She said I could do it, and she was right.

Amazing Shrimp Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
My hunny said that these were soooo good that I had to make them for the next pot luck we go to. They were much simpler than I had imagined. Obviously I am going to be making these again.

New England Clam Chowder II

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
Very good, very easy, very comforting. I did add a carrot and a rib of celery. My hunny likes veggies. We had this for Valentine's dinner. I used a 10 oz can of baby clams and a 6 oz can of diced clams.

Chex® Muddy Buddies®

These are so good and easy to make. I put them in the fridge for Thanksgiving and forgot about them and my kids found them a couple of weeks after and they were still good.

Hearty Meatball Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
This was soooo good. I made it for a basketball game night when my brother and his family came over. They ate it all. I wanted some for leftovers the next day. I added 8 cups of water to make enough for all of us. I added thinly sliced potatoes to the boiling broth before I added anything else.

Pretzel Turtles

These are excellent! I couldn't stop eating them. They were supposed to be for my Christmas cookie trays, but...needless to say, not very many made it to the trays.

Ravioli Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
I loved this! The only thing I didn't put in it was peas because I didn't have any. I did add 2 serrano chilis and to cool it down, a can of creamed corn. It tasted very fresh and was very healthy.

Nutmeg Sugar Crisps

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
UPDATE: for those of you that think they are too nutmeggy, use whole nutmeg and a microplane. Wow, these are incredible! I have to have these all of the time. I make them to have with my tea in the morning. I did sub out 1/4 cup of white sugar for brown and did add 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, but these would be great without any change.

My son is very picky about his rice, but he just loves this. I made this for him and a bunch of his friends before a football game and they all raved about it.

I really loved this. I did not use rosemary because I do not like it. I used parsley instead.

Shrimp Chowder

This was excellent! I did however tweak it a bit. I made my own shrimp stock with the legs, shells, and onion. Then I just did the recipe the way it was written. My family loved it.

This is one of my families favorites. We all love it. This soup is so hardy that we use tortilla chips instead of a spoon to eat it.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
I am soooo glad that I found this recipe. My sons and I are having a deep fried day. These are the best onion rings I have ever had. They are well worth the time and effort it takes to make them. We liked the inner rings best. I left the inner 3 rings intact and they were almost juicy. Yummy!!!!
