Garlic and Onion Burgers

These were excellent! We loved them. I used ground turkey and since my eldest son has developed an onion alergy, I used a couple of tablespoons of dry onion soup mix. Just a quick tip, if you have a griddle, make them on there (400 deg). They were all done at the same time. Great time saver and no over cooking trying to keep them warm.

Parmesan and Broccoli Stuffed Potatoes

These are the best mashed potatoes my husband has ever had. I did not stuff potatoes, I mashed red and white baby potatoes. Excellent!

My hunny said that these were soooo good that I had to make them for the next pot luck we go to. They were much simpler than I had imagined. Obviously I am going to be making these again.

New England Clam Chowder II

Very good, very easy, very comforting. I did add a carrot and a rib of celery. My hunny likes veggies. We had this for Valentine's dinner. I used a 10 oz can of baby clams and a 6 oz can of diced clams.

Hearty Meatball Soup I

This was soooo good. I made it for a basketball game night when my brother and his family came over. They ate it all. I wanted some for leftovers the next day. I added 8 cups of water to make enough for all of us. I added thinly sliced potatoes to the boiling broth before I added anything else.

Ravioli Soup

I loved this! The only thing I didn't put in it was peas because I didn't have any. I did add 2 serrano chilis and to cool it down, a can of creamed corn. It tasted very fresh and was very healthy.

Nutmeg Sugar Crisps

UPDATE: for those of you that think they are too nutmeggy, use whole nutmeg and a microplane. Wow, these are incredible! I have to have these all of the time. I make them to have with my tea in the morning. I did sub out 1/4 cup of white sugar for brown and did add 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, but these would be great without any change.

Shrimp Chowder

This was excellent! I did however tweak it a bit. I made my own shrimp stock with the legs, shells, and onion. Then I just did the recipe the way it was written. My family loved it.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

I am soooo glad that I found this recipe. My sons and I are having a deep fried day. These are the best onion rings I have ever had. They are well worth the time and effort it takes to make them. We liked the inner rings best. I left the inner 3 rings intact and they were almost juicy. Yummy!!!!
