This is just awsome. My husband and I both give 5 stars. I didn't change a thing. I don't find it fair to change the recipe then rate it. This recipe does not need to be changed.

Devil's Steak Sauce

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
This is amazing, I made it as directed but X's 40. I was wanting a thick sauce to go over my pork roast and then some left over that I could store in the refridgerater for steaks later in the week. Very Nice Job!!

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
I chose to try this recipe because it is simular to another recipe that I created and love. In my recipe, you mix 2 cans crab meat with an 8 oz. package of cream cheese, refridgerate for an hour and pour cocktail sauce over it. Serve with Triscuts. I did not change anything about this recipe except leaving out the water chestnuts. My first review is with cocktail sauce. 5 star! Wonderful, Sweet & Sour Sauce 4 Star, and the final sauce is with Toasted Sesame Soy and Ginger 3 Star. Over all, the dish with no sauce is a 4 Star. Since it does say serve with your choice of sauces this is where it gets a 5 Star!

Fried Cabbage with Bacon, Onion, and Garlic

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
I would like to explain the salt content of this recipe. For those who cook cabbage you will agree that it is made up of so much water and a lot of the salt disappears. You can always start off with less and add as you go if you feel uncomfortable with the 3 Tbls. This is also going to depend on how big your head of cabbage is. The day I submitted this recipe I was cooking a very large head of cabbage, so give or take and always remember to start off with less and add as you go. Enjoy and thanks for all your kind words.

Sweet Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
For many years I tried making meatloaf that I would be proud do serve. I could never find that special seasoning or ingredient that would have people talking. When I met my husband he had this recipe, I was very hesitant because I thought I had tried everything. I was so surprised and excited to finally find that recipe that I would be happy to enter in any contest and know I would have an award winning meat loaf!

Thick and Hardy Beef and Noodles (Deer Meat)

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
If you are fortunate enough to know a hunter and can get your hands on deer meat you will be surprised how much more flavor deer meat has over regular beef. For starters, deer meat is very lean and much better for you, I use deer roast when ever possible.

Christmas Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
I always get great reviews on my cheese balls, they are easy to make and always look so pretty. It is also very inexpensive and you can add so many different ingredients that make them so festive. This one I added olives with pimentos to make it a Christmas Festive Cheese ball. Make sure you jump in and get your share because everyone will be gathered around dipping.

Asparagus with Bacon Bits

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
Funny as we get older we challenge ourselves to like many foods we didn't like as a child. Adding different ingredients can make or break a dish. I came up with this recipe and found what I was looking for, a new way and flavor to turn what use to haunt me as a child into a dish that I make several times a month. I think you too will enjoy Asparagus and I challenge you to at least try it and add this healthy vegetable into your diet.
