Place brisket in roasting pan fat side up 2. Sprinkle on onion soup mix 3. Garnish with onion slices 4. Pour on Chili sauce 5. Add cup of water 6. Roast for about 3 hours 7. Remove from pan and slice accross grain.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
I did not expect to like it that much but did not know what else to have. I left out the Jalapino and cilantro because of my wife's preference but we both loved them. One receipe (15 oz can) filled the two tortillos so we used a knife and fork. Marge added sour cream to her's, I ate mine as is. We both loved them. Thanks for something new and delicious for us.

Beef Burgundy III

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
We loved the flavor, it was easy to prepare but nex time I will make the cubes of meat smaller. The flavor did not permeate the meat. We served it over seashell pasta and poured extra sauce on that which we loved. If I was able to I would have given it 4 and a half stars.

Grandmas Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
This was fantastic, even though I made a couple of mistakes. I forgot the Parm and Parsley. Used Honey Panko Japanese Bread crumbs I had left from another meal. Followed advice to double garlic, butter (smart balance margarine)and lemon juice. We loved it, but next time I will try to do it correctly.

Waistline-Friendly Turkey Chili

Too spicy, too sweet for everybody. I did not agree. I really loved it. Perhaps I picked a sweet salsa r BBQ sauce. I would make it again for sure. Change the salsa and BBQ sauce just a bit.

Tried the first time and we all loved it. We forgot to soak the skewers but it still worked out. Did it just like they said. We marinated the mushrooms and some onion and put those on the skewers too. We used vermouth for the whit wine which always works out fine and is always on hand.

Baked Trout Fillets

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Wow! We used filets from a steelhead (rainbow) and my wife and are were amazed at how delicious they were. Beans with almonds on the side and it was a perfect dinner. We followed the receipe exactly, Half a filet was enough for us because it was rich. My wife said she can't wait to try it on company.

Tomato Barley Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
Excellent!!! Except for stock, we never make soup. We followed the receipe exactly but we added some cooked polish sausage. We sliced it into about 2 inch pieces and put it in as we turned the soup down to a simmer. My wife and I ate it with sourdough bread and loved it. The receipe was enough for anbother meal. It is in the freezer for another day. Thanks, loved it.

Tofu Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
We made this last night. My wife liked it very much, I thought the flavor was too strong. Maybe too much parm. We put the leftovers in the fridge then had them for lunch. After standing overnight, we warmed them in the micro and then I thought they were great! Maybe the flavors needed to blend a bit. I will make it again.
