Baked Potato Soup Recipe - Food.com - 360905

I had never made baked potato soup before so this was a learning expeience. First I think cooking the potatoes the day before or at least well before you make the soup is important. Also next time I will "bake" them instead of nuking them-they need to be really done. Hubby loved it!

Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Definetly Delish! Preheating the oven is really important, otherwise cheese melts tuna stays cold. Also next time i think i will be sure and toast both sides of the bread. I did put cheese on bread then tuna then tomato then cheese. Had it with Baked Potatoe Soup, super filing for "Soup & Sand" dinner.

Mexican Lasagna Rollups

Everyone loved this, I thought the hamburger could use a little more flavor; next time will have to adjust that a bit. Super easy; I did top with green enchilada sauce the 2nd time I made it, that was really good too.

This got a thumbs up at dinner last night, I didn't tell them there was sour cream in the middle. I thought it was missing something, but I thought that about the Albondigas the other night too! Maybe it's my tastebuds that are "missing something".

i didn't think this had a lot of flavor, but I'm wondering if that was because of the type of salsa I used. I did brown the meatballs before putting them in, the whole raw hamburger kinda grossed me out......

Cranberry Nut Bark

I made white chocolate with hazelnuts and dark chocolate with macadamia nuts. I did the first batch mixing it all together and the 2nd batch I spread out the cholate and then sprinkled the nuts and cranberries on top, pressed them into the chocolate with the back of a spoon, it was a lot prettier with them sprinkled on top!

Salisbury Steak

I made the patties exactyly like the recipe said, removed them from my electric skillet then sauted some onion garlic and mushrooms. I took some beef boulion and mixed it with hot water to disolve, mixed some cream of mushroom soup with it, poured 1/2 in tthe skillet with the mushrooms and onion mixed it up placed the patties on top of that and poured the rest of the "gravy" over the patties. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes (enough time to make mashed potatoes) and they loved it!

Slow Cooker Enchiladas

My whole family loved this! Maybe it was just my crockpot but it didn't get bubbly in the middle in 1 1/2 hours, kids & hubbby couldn't wait any longer so we had to zap it in the microwave for a minute. Everyone had seconds, served with a dollop of sour cream on top and some Frank's Hot Sauce, little side salad and we were good to go!
