Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
These are SO good! I followed the recipe for the most part except I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut up. The only thing I would change is I would make more of the sauce mixture...the messier, the better! :) Fabulous recipe, though! Definitely a keeper for my wing lovin family!

Honey-Lime Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
My picky teens loved these. My husband and I liked them a lot but next time, I won't use as much honey. It was a bit overpowering for us. I used garlic powder instead of minced garlic. I only used 3 C of cheese but definitely could've used another cup or so...go with the 6 C. It's a keeper though. I'll definitely make it again.

BLT Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
My husband LOVES this dip. Although, what man doesn't love bacon. I followed the recipe exactly. I'm going to try half mayo, half miracle whip next time for a little more zip. I served it with club crackers. It was a huge hit at the get together I took it to!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
This was pretty good but not as good as I was expecting. My husband and I didn't care for the chunks of banana's so I would definitely mash them next time. It was very moist and had a good flavor. I didn't have vanilla so I used 1 tsp of apple juice. We didn't miss the vanilla at all.

Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
I made this for dinner tonight for a bunch of teenagers. They LOVED it! i didn't have enough panko so I topped the panko off with bread crumbs. I had to use an extra egg. I added about 1 T garlic power and 1 T onion powder the bread crumbs. The chicken was juicy and tender. The breading was very tasty. And most importantly, like I said...the picky teenagers LOVED it! It's definitely a keeper!

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
My family loved this! I didn't have velveeta so I used shredded cheddar and american. It was still very creamy and had a delicious flavor and texture. I will definitely be using this for our comfort food night from now on. Update: I made this again tonight with the velveeta, american, shredded cheddar and a small amount of parmesan. FABULOUS! Served it with french rolls with a sprinkle of garlic powder and parmesan. I just LOVE this recipe.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
I made this for dinner tonight. I used the exact measurements for the ingredients, however, I would use more spices next time. I used 2 medium and 1 large sized boneless/skinless breast (pounded to 1" thick, quartered. That being said, the recipe was very, very good. My husband, who doesn't particularly care for my "normal" fried chicken, ate two pieces tonight. Both my teenage daughters LOVED it! I was excited to learn through the other reviewers to flour first, egg bath next, cracker mixture last. I also followed the advice to fry on medium heat for 4 minutes each side (only flipped once)then 20 minutes in a 350 degree oven! It was perfectly done, juicy, crispy! Very very good! I will definitely make it again. Thanks for the recipe CASSJW!

Old School Mac n' Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
Had this for dinner tonight. It's DEFINITELY a keeper. I followed the recipe exactly. It fills up a 9 x 13 pan FULL. It was SOO good and creamy. One of my daughters thought it was a bit too spicy with the cayenne but the rest of us loved it. I MAY (for my daughter) only use 1/2 the cayenne next time. Also, I won't leave it in the oven as long next time. I will pull it out after 20 mins and let it set for about 5 mins. Thanks for a YUMMY recipe! Comfort Food Heaven!

Premier Cheesecake Cranberry Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
I made this because it was so pretty :). I will make it again because it is absolutely the best dessert I've ever had. I actually made it tonight for Thanksgiving tomorrow. My daughter, who HATES cranberries said, "I'd be lying if I didn't say this was the most amazing dessert ever!". My niece, who hates cheesecake said, "OH MY GOSH, that's AMAZING!" My mom tried it and just kept licking her spoon lol. So I haven't cut it into bars yet but the pan has a corner section that's about a quarter of the pan missing just from taste tests lol. Besides the taste, the next two best things about this dessert is that the ingredients are stuff most people have on hand. The only thing I had to buy was the white chocolate chips. The second is how incredibly simple! FABULOUS!

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
It's very good and I would make it again but I would add more brown sugar and more cinnamon. Also, I took the advice of others and didn't use the amount OJ called for in the recipe. I think it may have tasted better with the full amount. I couldn't taste it at all. I would also add evaporated milk as the potatoes were not as creamy as I like. I do like that it doesn't have eggs.

Chicken Chimichangas with Sour Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
Ok, I'm eating these as I am typing this. They are SO good that I wanted to do the rating while it was fresh in my head. I did have to change one thing only because I went to the store and they didn't have green chili's. I just chopped a green pepper in half and boiled it in with the chicken. I will definitely make it as written next time but they could only be more amazing with the green chili's. My daughter said they are her new favorite and she wants them tomorrow night lol. LOVE when I make something that becomes a new favorite! Thanks for a fabulous recipe. Very simple recipe too.

Easy Authentic Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
This was just ok for me. I would make it again but I would add more diced tomato. It was pretty dry and that was with adding 1 C of water. I like my rice a little more moist.

Cordon Bleu Chicken Rolls

This was really good. Even my husband that's not big on cordon bleu enjoyed it. I will definitely make again but being a HUGE cheese fans, I will add double the cheese next time.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2013
Very quick, easy Mexican style recipe. Family friendly, especially kid friendly. I will probably add tomatoes with green chilis or a jar of salsa but not because of taste enhancement...it tastes fabulous as is. I just like my Mexican sloppy! :)

Easy Creamy Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2013
My daughters love this. I made it previously and followed the recipe exactly. It was fabulous but a little more soupier than we wanted. This time I cut down on the sour cream, eliminated the butter from the crackers and added cheddar cheese. It was fantastic! Served it over mashed potatoes with a side of broccoli.

Beef Stroganoff III

FABULOUS! Not much else I can say about it. My husband is not fond of beef and he had two plates. I will forever use this as my stroganoff recipe! Thanks so much for this recipe.

The Most Easy and Delish Meatloaf EVER!

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2013
This was extremely tasty and so easy to put together. It will be my go-to meatloaf recipe from now on. The texture was absolutely perfect. I did drain it towards the end. The combination of spices with Rotel Tomatoes was just to die for! A bit of a bite so if you don't like spicy, skip the rotel and use diced tomatoes or something to the like. Thank you for sharing!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2014
Truly fantastic. Incredibly easy and quick to prepare. I made some of them with sprinkling cinnamon sugar on the apples before wrapping and some of them without. The ones with the cinnamon sugar on the apples were tastier but both were very good and a big hit! Thank you for a great recipe! Will most definitely be making these again! Update: Made these again this evening. I cut down on the soda this time, decreased the butter so the sugar/brown sugar mixture was a bit thicker. They were perfect...not soggy on the bottom at all. My daughter says, "These are like a treat for the gods!". So scrumptious.

Cranberry Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2014
Amazingly easy, Amazingly tasty! This recipe is a keeper. I did double the soup and wine so there was a bit more of the sauce to top the mashed potatoes I made with it. It was so tasty on top of the potatoes. Rave reviews from my family! Even my husband...he hates stuffing. The cranberries were such a fantastic addition. We love the flavor they add. I will probably add more next time just because they tasted great with it! Definitely a keeper!
