Beef Stew VI
made several modifications according to the directions of other reviewers: in a bag I put 1/4 cup flour, teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Put the stew meat in, and shook it up baby! Then I cooked it up in my ( cast iron ) dutch oven and seared in those flavors. This really put some great flavor on that meat and the yummy bits stuck to the bottom of the cast iron pan easily came off during the deglazing with the liquids. I didn't cut back on any liquids..actually you will probably want to add more towards the middle-end of the cooking time. I used 1/2 cup of red wine during the deglazing with the other liquids.

Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms
My husband loved it. I changed a few things based on the previews review. I used minced garlic (almost the whole head) and used 1.5 cups of half & half once the mushrooms were reduced. The half and half was brought to boil for the meal to finish being cooked.

Chicken Pot Pie IX
I made a few adjustments: added frozen corn (same amount as peas), added mushrooms to both the sauce and the meat mixture. Also, brushed on a bit of egg on both of the crusts. It turned out great! My skeptical husband loved it. The only thing I would do different next time is double the sauce.
