Awesome Ham Pasta Salad
YUM! This is awesome! Loved it! Only changes I made were to omit the peppers and the onion b/c I don't eat them, and substitute dill pickles for the sweet ones. I also added a bit more garlic (garlic fiends here!), mixed in about 1/4 cup of Ranch, used 16oz of egg noodles b/c I don't know what ziti ones look like (LOL), and added some shredded cheddar! All in all, a super recipe to tweak and play with whenever you have some time on your hands!

Mall Pretzels
Yummy!!! My first experience with making anything that included "active dry yeast" but they came out great! But you know, kneading dough sucks! It's hard work! lol Pretzels were kinda odd shaped, but they tasted great! Seasoned with salt, garlic and parmesan and dipped in warm marinara sauce. Also, mine tasted fine the next day. I just sealed them tight in a plastic zip bag thingy and reheated for like 10 mins at 300 degrees. Still good to me!

Pot Roast in Foil
This is probably the best pot roast I've had since my slow cooker disappeared on me! (don't ask, I lose everything!) I made it last night fot a late night supper and the hubby and I both loved it! I hate anything mushroom related, so I use one can cream of chicken and one can cream of broccolli. Odd coloring at first, but the taste was awesome. I also used the herb and garlic soup mix since I hate onions, too. I rubbed some cajun seasoning, garlic powder and black pepper onto the roast first and shoved some minced garlic (garlic fiends here) into the roast which REALLY enhanced the flavors. Also added about 5 cubed potatoes, which were just scrumptious! Wrapped it up tight (well, I thought it tight, did leak some) and baked my 3 pounder for about 3 hr and 15 mins. By then, the smell was too good to resist so I took it out (burned myself on HOT foil! duh!) and let it sit about 5 mins. Then couldn't hold hubby back any longer! lol We sliced it up and just devoured it! The roast was tender, the gravy to die for and the potatoes perfect! Thanks for the recipe; I'll use it again and again! :o)
