Pecan Pie V
Haven't tried, but going to. Only rated to ask question. The one thing missing is if a frozen or fresh/thawed pie crust was used. If you use either frozen or fresh does anyone flash bake their crust before adding pie filling? I think the Karo Syrup is making my frozen crust still soggy in the middle. I've tried adding 1-2 tablespoons of flour to make the Karo Syrup recipe I have firmer.

Carrot Cake III
This cake is slap yo' momma good. Ok, you may not slap her, but you will shake your finger at her (LOL). This is one of the best carrot cakes I've made. I made exactly per dircections, but added small can of crushed pineapple with a little juice. Cake came out moist. I also did a bourbon cream cheese frosting. Delicious!

Texas Glazed Pecans
I looked for this recipe after paying $8 for a 1/4 lb of these sold as gourmet nuts. I can't ever resist recreating a recipe. I had all the ingredients on hand (I'm from Texas and pecans are a staple in one's home), so I made these this weekend and people couldn't stop eating. I followed the direction with no changes. So, for about $6 we enjoyed a 1 lb of these delicious nuts. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It's a keeper
