Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
I made these tonight. Love the idea but followed other reviewers and baked dough 2 minutes first. We aren't big barbecue fans so I used pizza sauce and they turned out great. Also used a full pound of ground meat. Next time I will use a smaller biscuit. I used the Grands although hubby loved them!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
This is the best Zucchini bread ever! Without blueberrys this bread seems bland to me but the blueberrys increase the flavor. With our garden abundant with zucchini, I gave a friend one and 2 boxes of blueberries and this recipe and they too loved it.

Blueberry Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2010
These were out of this world. I made my own blueberry filling and followed a couple suggestions from other reviewers. I added a teaspoon of grated lemon zest to the batter. using just enough batter to cover the bottom about 1/3 of the batter was another good tip. I also made a little extra glaze. Yummy!!!

Banana Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
I make this almost weekly, exactly as written. Great way to use those ripe bananas and super if you want a cake instead of a quick bread. A big hit at the office and those who stop by. A keeper.

Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Fabulous! I make this exactly as written. Keep it in the frig and add to hot cereals, waffles, pancakes and on its own. Blueberrys are benificial for memory and weight loss. I find blueberries on sale, freeze 2 cups in a bag and I'm always ready to prepare another batch!

Delicious! Did not change except added 2-3 drops red food color. Served over homemade Belgian Waffles. Also great on plain yogurt or ice cream.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
I made these muffins after seeing the picture! After mixing the dry ingredients I found I didn't have enough butter. I used margarine in the batter and butter for the topping. They were light, moist and so yummy. Another hint: 3 bananas equal one and one half cups.

White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
We are making these to "give" for the holidays. I use the Wilton candy coating. If you have a Michaels craft store nearby you might find them on sale. They are made specifically for dipping and you can melt them in the microwave. A fast a fun to make treat!

Blackberry Cobbler

Delicious and easy. I used Heart and Hands self rising flour recipe. The berries I picked were so tart but this cobbler recipe toned them down. Super served warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

I experimented with these and my husband took them to work and he said they were gone in less than an hour! I used anisette liquor and half the almonds. I also made the initial cut in thirds and made more pieces. They were great!!

Banana Bread V

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2003
Out of all the banana bread recipes this is the one thats much like the one I've used for years!! The best thing is that you can scale it by how many "cups" of mashed banana you have instead of how many large or small bananas (amount real makes or breaks the loaf). The only difference is that I use 1 tsp soda and 1 tsp vanilla. Then after it comes out of the oven I brush the loaves with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Wrapping them in foil when cool really locks in the moisture and yum!!
