The first time I made this, I did not have the proper pan, so I made it in a tin pie plate. I used 5 eggs and like another reviewer had stated, it was too much like scrambled egg texture, but had a great taste. The second time I made it, I used the exact recipe in the correct pan, and it spilled out all over the bottom of my oven and made a horrible mess that smelled up the whole house. It was unedible. I would like to try it again, next time in the water bath once I got all the burnt pieces scraped out. There has to be a simpler way. :(
