Quick Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2014
Made my own buscuit mix from another recipe on this sire. Added the garlic powder to the buscuits before baking. Doubled the recipe. 6 very happy customers including three 17 year old boys! 20 minutes from starting to add the ingredients to coming hot out of the oven. So convenient with our hectic schedule. Thanks for this recipe! My son came home from basketball practice looking for more... but they were long gone!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
Soooo good. I used two parts ketchup to one part BBQ sauce and used Dijon mustard and added a sweet pepper. My hungry teenage son applauds. This is a definite keeper.

Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
Wow this was good. I added some salt, a half cup of cream, a chopped sweet red pepper, and loads of extra parmesan. My chidren (ages 4 to 13) said "I don't link spinach", then proceeded to gobble it up and go for seconds. This will be a weekly meal for us - and is especially easy for dinner on Sunday between church services.

Bisquick® Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
Use an extra egg and top with streusel topping before baking (Bisquick, brown sugar, butter, & cinnamon). These were fluffy and moist - not like cake or biscuits - just a perfect muffin (like the ones we get at the bakery). Another topping option is to just sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on the tops before baking. Yum. A summer vacation favorite for my family.

Easy Cheesy Nachos

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
Thanks for this idea. I used a can of refried beans with about 1/2 cup of picante sauce (salsa would work, too) instead of chili, and I used Mexican style shredded cheese (cheddar, monterey jack, etc.). If you use shredded cheese, I recommend you sprinkle it (generously) over the chips and beans, then cook for two minutes under the broiler. I also drizzled some of the picante and some black olives over the cheese. SO YUMMY. This makes a great lunch!

Low Sugar Strawberry Rhubarb Crunch

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
I added an extra half pint of strawberries, used 2 tablespoons of honey, and 2 heaping tablespoons of cornstarch (due to extra strawberries). I also sprinkled a tablespoon of sugar over the fruit before adding topping. I replaced 1/4 cup of oats with flour as well. This came out nice and crunchy. If you like the crunch and are not afraid of the sugar, I recommend doubling the topping. This will also allow you to cook the dish an extra five or ten minutes to make sure the rhubarb is nice and soft. Very yummy!

Peanut Butter Balls V

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
I highly recommend this recipe. It's easy easy easy, so much so that I included my 3 and 5-year-old children who loved dipping the pb balls in chocolate. I opted to use crushed Rice Krispies. Freeze the pb balls first remembering to insert toothpicks before freezing. It made this a breeze. I used 4 cups of semi-sweet chips and had enough left over to make some raisin-nut clusters.

Chocolate Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
This pie is perfect - it's like chocolate mousse in a pie shell. It receives rave reviews from my family at Thanksgiving.
