Absolutely the Best Nacho Dip Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2003
I have made this recipe for several different gatherings and it is always the first thing to go! We don't always add the cocktail sauce and we usually substitute shredded spinach for lettuce. One of our favourites!!

Salad Dressing Cupcakes

Reviewed: May 27, 2003
Fantastic! I made these for my children's daycare. As easy as a mix, but much tastier! We iced them with the "Allspice Cream Cheese Frosting" from this site (it was leftover from our carrot cake) and it was great! I also used low-fat salad dressing and they were very moist.

Fresh Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2003
Thie was really good! I had it for dinner one night and there wasn't anything left! The ketchup in the dressing sounds weird but tastes great! I'll be making this again.

Seafood Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2004
This sauce tasted fantastic, however it is not a quick one. It took me almost half an hour and my fish was cooked well before that. Now I know, I can plan better. Excellent flavour though.

Allspice Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: May 18, 2003
This is the best frosting I have ever had! I made it for the Best Ever Carrot Cake, and I thought it was amazing!! I added a bit less milk as the consistency was perfect before adding all the milk. Yum!!

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2003
This was a great cake! I added chocolate chips and frosted it with a cream cheese/banana frosting. I will defintely make this again! My husband(who's not into sweets at all) loved it. I'm going to try the Allspice creamcheese frosting this time! Yum!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2003
These biscuits were great! Not only did they taste good, but they stayed soft for several days after I first made them. They were the first biscuits I have ever made that didn't turn into virtual hockey pucks by the time they were cool! I also used margarine instead of shortening, as it was New Year's Day and nothing was open! They still turned out yummy. I made small biscuits and got 18 in total. We'll make this one again!!

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2004
Easiest, best tasting shortbread ever!! I drizzled chocolate over the top instead of using the cherries, but my family loved them plain as well.YummmY!!!

Never-Never Ever-Ever Fail Fudge

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2003
Terrible fudge!I thought I'd try this to see if I could make a quick batch of fudge, rather than making the traditional beaten stuff. Luckily I have lots of experience with candy. Even after salvaging this (I boiled it again with some extra milk), it is still grainy and tastes pretty bad. Do not use this recipe! My first bad experience on this web site.

Best Carrot Cake Ever

Reviewed: May 18, 2003
This is a very tasty recipe. I made two mistakes and it still turned out very well! I added my entire can of pineapple without measuring first (14 oz!) and baked the entire recipe in an angelfood cake pan. It took 3 hours to bake!! I will not do that again! It is still a bit moist (my own fault!). I made it with the Allspice Cream Cheese frosting and it tastes divine!

Baklava

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2003
Very simple recipe. I think the baking time could be reduced by 5-10 minutes. My pan is very brown, and the nuts are a little more toasted than I would like. I added ground cloves to my batch and I think I will stick with cinnamon only next time. Still, yummier than my local bakery!

T. T.'s Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2003
Yummy! These turned out perfectly. I added the peanut butter cups and (I never thought I'd say this!)I could have added less chocolate chips. I also got more cookies than the recipe said(not a bad thing)!
