My husband loves blackened anything, so I when I found this, I knew I had to try it. It was spicy enough to please him, but not so spicy I couldn't eat it. I generally steer clear of blackened meats because they are incredibly salty. I was very excited to see that the recipe called for so little salt. I didn't have white pepper on hand, so I used black instead--still delicious. I didn't bake it, though. I cooked it in my grill skillet with a touch of canola oil for about 7-10 mins per side. I served with brown rice and green and hazelnut recipe I found here.
I will definitely be making this again!
