Orange Pumpkin Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
YUM YUM YUM!!! I wanted to make some type of pumpkin bread since fall is finally here. This turned out wonderful, filled our house with such a wonderful pumpkin scent. The only thing I did differently was instead of adding a processed orange, I added the juice of two oranges and the zest of 1. It turned out perfect, has a nice blend of pumpkin & orange. The outer layer of the loaf was nice & crunchy, didn't need anything added to it. Thanks so much for this recipe, I will definitely be making this during the holidays. Thanks so much!

Lawry's Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2006
This recipe was really good. However, I did substitute a few of the ingredients. I didn't use green chili's or tomato sauce & seasoning, instead I used a can of enchildada sauce, a really good brand is best. I added a can of diced tomatoes to the sauce for texture. This is a really good hearty family dish. I added a dollop of sour cream on tops and jalepenos for my husband. Even better than the original "rolled" type of enchiladas. Even better heated up the next day. Thanks for a great recipe!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2006
This recipe is SOOOO good! I remember my mom making a similar dish when I was little, but this was my first time making it. Way better than I expected. I followed the recipe exactly except, I didn't have any wine, however, I did use Dijon mustard made with white wine. After the stroganoff was done, I put it over egg noodles w/ a touch of butter & parsley. My entire family loved this dish! My husband said "YUM" with his first bite, second bite, so forth. He actually got seconds! I served it w/ garlic sticks & I will absolutely be making this again, it's officially going in my recipe book. Thanks so much!

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2004
Was looking for something different....but easy, and this is it! I did make a few changes, I used boneless skinless chicken breasts, and I halfed them, I didn't alter any of the other ingredients though. I also cooked mine in a cast iron skillet and it browned nicely on 400 degrees for about an hour. The only change I would make next time would be definitely half the butter to 1/4 cup, not only because of the fat content, but it was just too much for 4 chicken breasts. It was very, very tender, a great flavor combination & like everyone else said....your entire house smells wonderful. Even my 9 year old couldn't wait for supper!

Bread Machine Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2003
I was very impressed with this recipe. Had a wonderful flavor, very light & fluffy. The only thing I did different was instead of the egg wash, I mixed a little butter & garlic and brushed the tops after they were done. Delicious, served them with Clam Chowder, was a big hit with everyone. Will definitely be making these again! Thanks Kay!
