Chocolate 'N' Oat Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
Took this to a rehearsal full of women. I put them out 10 minutes before practice started and they were gone when practice started! Easy, followed the recipe to a tee.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2013
I had a few problems with it, mainly it taking an hour and a half to bake. But i made a few modifications: Added two pieces of bread at the bottom of the loaf pan to absorb some of the grease, I added one clove garlic to the meat mixture, and i used only 1/2 cup of brown sugar and mixed it with the ketchup to put on top of the meatloaf before baking it. After it was finally done it had good flavor and texture. next time I will budget for longer baking time and add a full 3/4 cup of brown sugar. Nick loved it more than I did, but after all, it is meatloaf.

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
This pork was very good. I think I mat have cooked it a little too long in the crock pot tho. We also just ate this pork on Asiago Cheese bread with colby jack cheese as sandwiches. I did make one adjustment: I used jalapeno instead of red chile pepper. I only used one jalapeno but shouldve probably used two.

Wow awesome snawsome recipe. Served with cheddar broccoli rice. Only change I made to the recipe was I added a diced large clove of garlic when the onion and mushrooms were sauteeing. Will make again.

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
I followed the recipe plus one addition. In a pan with olive oil I saute'd garlic, onion, and red bell pepper and added that mixture to the chicken and sour cream. Baked for 30 minutes covered and then 5 minutes uncovered. Tasted like an entree at a local Mexican restaurant. Will make again. Served with chips and salsa.

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
This recipe was absolutely delicious and easy to make. The muffins are very moist and can really taste the butter in them. Before I baked them I also sprinkled some toffee bits on top and it is a great compliment to a bananas. Will most definitely make again.

S.O.P.P.

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
Made for dinner, was an easy one skillet meal. I added garlic powder, garlic salt, and a little onion powder as well. We used hot sausage instead of smoked sausage and still turned out well.

Crab Legs with Garlic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
delicious and deceivingly easy to make. I omitted the dried parsley and forgot to buy crab shell crackers so it was rather hard to eat but very very good. Boyfriend loved it for his birthday

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
Used anaheim peppers and cooked on low for around 5-6 hours. Used a little extra brown sugar and it made it sweet, would also be good if it was spicier.

Sausage and Rice Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2012
took a long time to make, longer than an hour an a half. Good but the peppers turned out a little soggy. Next time, might use italian sausage and/or hot chili powder.

Overall this dish was good. I followed recipe with the exception of adding Greek seasoning to the chicken while sauteeing it. We ate it with home made garlic bread.

Apple-Cranberry Crisp

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2011
I enjoyed this crisp, the filling was delicious. I did use a mixture of raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries because I could not find cranberries :( However, the crisp I feel like I wanted it more crispy, something was missing but I am not sure what it was.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2011
I made a few minor changes. First, I did 1 lb. ground beef and 1 lb. italian sausage because it was cheaper. Second, I used just all tomato sauce and no tomato juice. Turned out incredible!
