Glazed Corned Beef

I will cook corned beef like this again for sure. It turned out wonderful. I did not have apricot so I used red pepper jelly instead and it came out perfect. Juicy inside, slightly crunchy and sweet on the outside. Timing was right on for cooking with a 3.5 lb roast.

Rich and Creamy Potatoes Au Gratin

Seconds were taken by all on this. Creamy and tasty. Sort of expensive but the taste is worth it. Would compliment any meat dish very well. And could easily be doubled for a larger crowd. Nice pick Recipe Group.

This tasted so wonderful therefore worth the effort to make. Lots of steps but for the right person(s) it worth it. I didn't change a thing. Next time I will even out my layers better and be more consistent with how much I put between the layers.

Quick Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Recommend highly. I made mini cookies and made a simple buttercream frosting instead. They are for a bake sale and thought the cream cheese frosting would get too slippery because its a sale outside and what if the day was warm. The batter is thick as is most recipes made with a cake mix. I rolled up little balls that were mabye 3/4" and just touched the tops to flatten a little. They spread wonderfully and after they cooled I matched circles that would best fit together. When I put the frosting on and then the top I did take a small untensil and smoothes the outside and added sprinkles by sprinkling around edges. Pretty

Simple and easy, just the way cooking should be for a busy Mom. Real taste of white fish which is not too strong anyway. And I love the use of lemon. Will be recommended to others.

Oyster Sauce Chicken Thighs

Fantastic, fantastic. Will make over and over again. Go slow adding sweetness to your taste. I did it as recipe called for and thought it was fine but for others it may be too sweet. Used the brown sauce to finish off my green beans so I wouldn't waste such a wonderful recipe.

Simple Country Ribs

Make sure you have your BBQ mix/ribs on low low. I thought maybe the meat cooked too much too fast. But overall it didn't change the moistness later when grilled.

Blackened Chicken

Wow this is a great quick meal. Put those herbs/spices together/sear/cook/BAM done. Made with the Mexican Rice and they paired real well. I had 2 big huge breasts that I cut in half and I should have doubled the herbs/spices but still came out nice.

Fluffy Pancakes

I don't often make pancakes from a homemade recipe, more of a bisquick girl on that. But I enjoyed how quickly these were made and hot off the griddle in no time. Made Mickey Mouse shapes. They raised real well: always let the batter sit a few minutes before pouring.

Chewy Date Nut Bars

For taste I am giving this a 5 star rating. But I did have disappointing results with the edges raising and browning up, way before the middle was done. Will try again to see if get different results. I didn't have full 2 cups of dates so I used craisins as a fill in but I don't think that has anything to do with edges getting tooooooo brown before middle was done and my oven temps are right on.
