Chinese Chicken and Potato Soup

Black Bean Soup II

Didn't like the consistency; I'm not sure black beans are meant to be pureed. Wasn't nearly tasty enough.

Beef and Barley Soup I

Next time, I will just use beef broth from a can and put the barley in it. This recipe, I think, was unnecessarily time consuming. Tasty, though.

I doubled the recipe so I could use a full can of pumpkin. But then I used only 3 c. applesauce and about 1/4 c. apple juice concentrate. They turned out pretty good. I might use more spices next time . . .

Alfredo Blue

Aimee's Quick Chicken

I thought my kids would balk at the Dijon mustard taste, but they ate their entire portion without a complaint. My husband's comment was: "I've not been liking chicken lately, but this chicken was very tasty!"
