Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2015
This is a really great salad. It tastes like a salad that you would get in a restaurant. I even forgot to put the avocado in the salad. Still, it was delicious. I will make it again.

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2013
I thought this was a great recipe, and very easy. I made it for friends and everyone thought it was delicious. I wanted it to be a little thicker, so I added a little flour to it to thicken it up. I would definitely make this again.

Sauteed Radishes

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2013
I thought it was great! I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I would make it again. Delish! Also, I substituted olive oil because I forgot when I went to make it that it called for butter.

Chef John's Turkey Burger

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2013
This was really good. I had to make some substitutions because I didn't have all the ingredients, but I thought it was great. I used sour cream instead of yogurt, a dash of ground ginger instead of fresh, and I didn't have garam masala, so I look up what that was and added a dash of cinnamon, ground cloves, cumin, and black pepper. It tastes great even with all my substitutions. That's the fun thing about cooking - you can add a dash of this and a dash of that, and it will still taste great!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
It was good. I liked the raspberry sauce, and if I made it again, I would double the sauce. I think it could have used more salt on the pork chop too. It was super easy to make though. Very fast!

This was okay. It needed more cornstarch or flour as it was very watery. I wouldn't make this again, but it was easy.

Baked Pasta with Sausage and Baby Portobello Mushroom White Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
I thought this was fantastic. It tasted like something you would get in a nice Italian restaurant. I had never used Italian sausage before, and I loved it. I used hot Italian sausage and I liked the spice. I also substituted bowtie pasta because I didn't have enough penne pasta, and it still turned out great. I also added the parmesan in with the cream, as other reviewers suggested. Yum!

Shredded Chicken Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2011
I think these are very authentic chicken tacos. These are the type of tacos that people from Mexico make at my job. As I was making them, I remembered they also put chipotles in them, so I added it to the chicken for a little kick. I didn't have adobo seasoning, but I found a recipe on here called Traci's adobo seasoning, and used that. It turned out great.
