Apple Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
These really are good. Read most of the reviews, I did not double the recipe, but I did make some changes. I used 2 cups of apples, and I only used 1/4 white sugar.Could probably use only 1/4 cup of brown sugar too. They are sweet, so I would not use more sugar. I also drizzled with a little powdered sugar and milk mixture. These were delish, and I will be making them again

Southern Baked Yellow Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
This was delicious.Lower in claories than most because of no cheese. Could even be lower if you used EggBeater. I used panko bread crumbs, could have added fresh basil, I did not add sugar, not sure why you would, I agree with others, could use less butter, but it is very tasty with the amt used. I'll be making this again

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2006
This could not be any easier to make. I used panko bread crumbs, rubbed first with EVOO, garlic powder and rosemary. You could use any spice and or herb you wanted and any type of bread or cracker crumbs.

Sorrel Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2005
I had never had sorrel before and purchsed some from the farmers market today. Saw this recipe and thought I would try it. I didn't have heavy cream, but used FF half and half. Good but a little thin. Put in 4 T of frozen potato flakes to help thicken it up...delish. Has a light lemony flavor. Will make again.

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2005
I have made this several times this summer. Always changing one thing or another. I have made it with all berries, some with peaches.Recently made it with just peaches and it was great.I usually use only 1 cup of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar. Fruit is natually sweet, and I try to cut the fat down as much as possible and still have a good taste, anything less than 1 cup of butter doesn't seem to taste as good. This is a very good recipe to have on hand.

Favorite Hamburger Bites

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2005
Loved it! I also only use 2 T mayo and no minced onions, just the onion soup mix. Followed the rest of the recipe , used the little rolls, pickle and baked, then put a "squirt" of mustard on it...tasted just like a Krystal...I love those little things! Thanks for the recipe, now I can have them without the trip to Tennessee.

So good,so easy. Very easy to have all of the ingredients on hand. You can always add more or less to this, but it is great the way it is.
