Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2014
Fabulous! Made it as per recipe and it was perfect. I saved the marinade and boiled it on the stove to place over the top. Everyone, even very picky kids, loved this. Absolutely a keeper!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2013
Everyone in my family LOVED this recipe. Took advise from others and added Worcestershire and Kitchen Bouquet (approx 2 TBSP) during cooking then cut up meat and put back in pot along with a sliced red onion and mushrooms about 45 minutes prior to serving. Served on rolls with cheese after toasting in toaster oven. Rave reviews!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
I cubed chicken breasts because that is what I had and I needed to make them in a hurry. My family loved the chicken on the grill with this marinade. I also used the remaining marinade and thickened it with cornstartch to make a sauce, which was delicious.

Simple, Classic Chicken Potpie

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2013
Great recipe! I was out of celery and parsely, but it was still delicious. I did add some rosemary and sage and about a 1/4 cup of cream in place of 1/4 cup of the chicken broth, because I actually did have that! It was wonderful. I will definitely be making this again!

Lemon Pie Bars

Reviewed: May 22, 2013
Yum, yum! I did what others suggested and used 1 1/2 times the ingredients for the filling. You could easily go with 2x the ingredients. On one batch I used equal amounts of lemons and limes (rinds and juice) and I think it might have been better than just the lemon bars. Also, don't dust with powdered sugar until right before serving. This is 5 stars with the filling amount increased!

Rosemary Roasted Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
My husband and I absolutely loved this recipe! I bought the butternut squash cubes at Costco and used dried chopped rosemary and the minced garlic from a jar and roasted it all at 425 and it only took about 25 minutes. Delicious and easy!!

Lemon Horseradish New Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
Excellent recipe! The sauce is just wonderful. I think next time I will quarter the potatos so that I can get more sauce on them. Recommend doubling the sauce. We had this as our side with a beef tenderloin roast for Christmas and it was fantastic. Thank you!

Roast Beef Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
Wow! This was amazing!! Absolutely as good as you would get in a 5-star restaurant. I followed the directions exactly. Had to go to a couple of grocery stores to find veal stock and tarragon vinegar, but I think using all the recommended ingredients was key. This was our Christmas dinner this year and everyone raved. Can't thank you enough!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
This is incredible! I made it with cinnamon raisin bread and eggnog in place of the milk. I didn't add any additional spices, but I did add some Craisins. I also put the vanilla sauce recipe from the #1 most helpful review over the pudding once it was cooked. I added 3 TBSP Meyer's dark rum to the vanilla sauce and I think it really added to the flavor. What a great recipe! Thank you to all for the recipe and modification ideas!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
Holy cow! This may be the best fudge I have ever had, a sentiment echoed by my dinner guests at our Christmas meal. I used 2 C brown sugar and 3 C confectioner's sugar as suggested by other reviewers and added Giradelli's chocolate chips as well. So smooth, creamy and delicious!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2012
This is a great recipe. I used Fitz's Root Beer, which I highly recommend because it uses real sugar, and because - it is from St. Louis!! I added salt, pepper, garlic powder and the root beer and after the pork tenderloin was done cooking I shredded it, added Sweet Baby Ray's and put it back in for an hour. Hubby LOVED it, as did the people at the party I was hosting. I had lots of requests for the recipe! I combined it with the top rated homemade coleslaw from Allrecipes and it was so good! BTW - I add Stevia instead of sugar (1/2 the amount called for) in the coleslaw recipe.
