About this Cook
I really enjoy cooking for my boyfriend and I. It makes me feel like I'm training for the bigger part of life! I guess you can say I'm a bit excited to be a wife and mother.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking meals, things that go together! I love cooking meat and veggies and making things different!
My cooking triumphs
I was really happy with myself when I was able to stuff chicken and later on fry chicken! I felt really good about it. I also think my biggest baking triumph is My white chocolate cheesecake because it's so hard!
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedy was when my stuffing was all moist and sticky after making chicken bruschetta. It bummed me out just a bit!

Quick and Spicy Chili
I used 1 pound of turkey and 1 pound of ground beef because that was what I had, I seasoned the beef because whenever I don't it doesn't taste quite right to me and I never like the dish. I used a bit too much chili powder and so I eliminated the cayenne. I minced the jalapeno and red onion because I choked on a jalapeno recently and DO NOT want that same experience! used the 2 cans kidney beans and one can corn and added brown sugar instead of white. Knowing my boyfriend loves diced tomatoes, added a can of diced tomatoes with green chiles. This is the first chili I have ever made and I and my boyfriend really like it, I think its a simple chili that can be versatile for anyone and that it has the right amount of kick and sweet!

Tasty Sesame Tilapia
I loved loved loved the marinade, I didn't have ginger so I put a bit of cinnamon because it was the only "similar" spice I had and then I added a little bit of chili sauce to even with the coconut rice I also made. I loved how the marinade smelled and how it tasted but once I tried it with the fish, I couldn't eat it. I know it was because I apparently don't like tilapia like I thought I did and so I'm going to try this marinade on chicken of beef because I think it would taste better. Sorry for such a crummy review! I was really wanting to like this!

Asian Coconut Rice
I thought that this rice tasted completely like coconut and that it wasn't too subtle! I absolutely loved it in the beginning, but the main dish I made was not tasty at all so it made it hard to keep eating unfortunately. I made this a little different just because I always make 2 cups of rice. other then that, the recipe was simple and yummy.
