Pepperoni Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2013
This is a new family favorite. It's simple. The kids love it. I made a couple of changes. I upped the yeast to a tablespoon, reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup and added 1/4 honey in it's place. If the temp where the dough is rising isn't really warm, it makes a huge difference in rising time as well. These keep for a long time, and taste good warmed up. Even in the microwave!

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
This is a great recipe. I've even personalized it by using flavored oils or added herbs. Be mindful of the a mounts though. It is for a two pound machine. It was quite a scene when my dough outgrew my machine. No big deal, I just adjusted the recipe to 12 servings using the handy tool provided by the website.

Pork Chalupas

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
I make this over and over! Everybody likes it, and it feeds a crowd. I like to add a little fresh cilantro and lime to it when I serve it. Don't out the cilantro in the pot with it though, or it will get a soapy taste.

The Amazing Swedish Meatball

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I did not care for this at all. I'd give it just one star, but out of fairness, it could be just personal taste, or a mistake in prep.

Butternut Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
I use sweet potatoes instead of squash, just out of personal preference. There isn't a single person at the table (including picky kids) who don't love this.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
This was so good! It made the house smell wonderful, and I had lots left over to freeze. It actually smelled so good I burned my mouth trying to sneak a taste out of the crock pot.

Raisin Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
I love this recipe and have made it several times. I advise waiting until further on in the kneading cycle to add the raisins, though. Otherwise, they will just get chopped up into the bread. I actually doubled the raisins. I add some before and some during the knead cycle.

Great! I assembled it in crock pot the night before and stored in the fridge. In the morning, turned it on, and had delicious soup for dinner when I got home!

Flank Steak with Horseradish Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
So good! It's one of the new favorite in my house. I let the meat marinate for about 24 hours. The sauce was simple and made enough for the next time!

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Very tasty but soggy. I even baked it on a cookie rack like others suggested. Maybe I coated it in too much mayo?

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
This was an especially easy dish. I used stew beef because it was what I had on hand and added a little Chianti to it for good measure. I served it in rolls with Feta cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. Make sure you use rolls that can stand up to lots of juice without getting soggy.

Chicken Vicious

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
This was fantastic. Very similiar to General Tso's. My brave tasted three year old daughter even loved it. I omitted the mushrooms just as personal preference. This is going into regular dinner rotation.
