Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
These were delicious. I coated my pan with cooking spray and they popped right out after chilling them in the fridge making them easier to cut. I didn't have butterscotch chips so I used a 12 oz bag of chocolate chips, and they were delicious. Who doesn't love chocolate and peanut butter?

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
The only change I've ever made is to mix some italian sausage in with the beef, but it's just perfect as is. Has become one of my "signature" dishes. Always have requests for the recipe. Love it, love it, love it!(Cait, to make ahead, you can assemble it up to the point of baking, wrap tightly, freeze it, and then defrost it completely before baking it. Works perfectly. I have used it several times as a freezer meal for a new mom.)

Tangy Poppy Seed Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
Very good! I added some mango and blueberries too and used fresh pineapple rather than canned. Served it to friends and got rave reviews!

Another homemade cocktail sauce convert! Don't buy it, make it! Great and EASY. Used prepared horseradish from a jar...was GREAT! Thanks for the recipe Super Al!

Quick Salsa Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
Good, quick, and easy, but how can you go wrong with any of these ingredients? It doesn't make very much so you might want to double it if you're feeding a crowd.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2005
Excellent and easy! I doubled the recipe and did a little changing. I added some dried chopped onion, about a cup of shredded cheese and used (11 oz) mexicorn instead of plain whole kernel corn. It was delicious and the substitutions and additions really added to the flavor.

Texas Sheet Cake V

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2005
Followed the recipe except I left out the nuts. VERY GOOD! Even my anti-chocolate husband liked it, and my 2.5 year old couldn't get enough.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2005
So Great! I used the ideas of other reviewers and came out with a great meal. I used a can each of cream of celery and cream of chicken. I added some fresh carrots, celery, and onion to the broth as I cooked the chicken. I also cooked the biscuit dumplings for about 8 minutes in the liquid before adding the chicken back in. I never had much luck with making "homemade" dumplings, but now I can cheat my way to a great meal!

Easy Cheesy Cream of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2005
Very good and easy soup, but not the very best I've ever had. I used cream of celery, I think next time I would try the mushroom soup. I melted the cheese in the microwave for a couple of minutes before adding it to the soup to make melting quicker. Worked out great.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2004
I made this for a church chili dinner and got RAVES! I changed the recipe just a tiny bit. I, like several other reviewers, used the diced tomatoes with added green chilis. I used black beans instead of kidney but drained the liquid. I also added bell pepper, half of a green, red, and yellow. It was fantastic. As to what to do with all the extra bell pepper, chop it up and freeze it in a plastic bag for later!

Incredible Punch

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2004
I made this for a baby shower, and it was a BIG hit. I had several people ask for the recipe. It's SO good and so easy. I also froze the slush in gallon ziplock bags, but I would take it out earlier than an hour ahead because I had trouble with it not slushing fast enough. FANTASTIC!

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2003
These cookies were delicious and so easy. I don't have a stand mixer so I don't do many "homemade" cookies, but this one was perfect for my little hand mixer. I used a German Chocolate cake mix and added the brown sugar and peanut butter/chocolate chips. They were DELICIOUS!
