Bran Flax Muffins

These are awesome. I used whole flaxseeds plus some chia seeds. Whole wheat flour, wheat germ and dates are the only other substitutions i made. Will definitely make again.

Mushroom and Gorgonzola Soup

This was amazing. we cut the recipe in half yet still ended up using the full amounts of onion/garlic/mushroom; double them all, it will add more depth of flavor. I also used half the amount of half and half and made up for it with greek yogurt- still creamy and delicious, just a little healthier. Will definitely make again, and maybe with a little thyme next time.

Filet Mignon with Mushroom-Cabernet Gravy

we only used the mushroom sauce and it was phenomenal. We pan seared the filet then put it in the oven at 500 for 6 minutes for medium rare. Delicious.

Jumbo Shrimp and Asparagus

We added broccoli to the mix, steamed them with the asparagus. We also sauteed shiitake mushrooms in sesame oil, then added the shrimp, then all the other ingredients ( replaced sugar with honey, added fish sauce) and topped with green onions and sesames

Korean BBQ Beef (Pul-Kogi)

Wow, this is our second Korean Dish we have made recently (Bi Bim Bop was our first) and we are in love. The flavors are incredible, and we only marinated for an hour and a half. Made with sticky white rice and sauteed Mushrooms and broccoli in the remaining marinade. Delicious.

I substituted basil for the cilantro, cutting it down to 1/4 cup due to personal preference. You can't understand how good this was unless you could see how distended my belly is :)
