About this Cook
I am mom to 3 amazing kids, 2 girls and 1 boy. "Crockpot Queen" is the nickname my husband had for me when we were dating. After being a single man for awhile, he loved everything I made. Back then, most of my meals were in a slow cooker because I worked in the evenings. Years later, I don't use the slow cooker as often, but the nickname brings back good memories of our early days...and he still loves the way I cook :)

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef
This is fantastic! I only used 1 tsp. red pepper flake, since little ones were eating it. (I wouldn't have minded more, but I love heat.) I also doubled the sauce. I used half to marinate the meat for 4 hours and added the other half at the end of cooking to warm through. I served it over rice with veggies. A huge hit; I wish I had leftovers!

Round Steak Sauerbraten
Fantastic! The only changes I made were to double the gravy ingredients and use 1/2 a diced onion instead of the onion powder. I also put all the ingredients in the crockpot on low for 5 hours instead of cooking on the stovetop or baking. Everyone loved it and I will be making it again and again.
