World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2015
Like many other reviewers, I added and changed a bit, but this is a good recipe to start with if you've never made a tomato sauce before. I didn't add the sugar (the tomatoes are sweet enough!), and used wine instead of water. Put some olive oil in and added way more garlic and basil. Turned out great! Will try in the crock pot next time to give everything more time to meld together.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2015
Delicious! Even as a meat-eater I loved this. I used Frank's Red Hot and went cumin-heavy. I also took the advice and froze them which helped them from falling apart but not as much as I thought. Maybe next time I will drain the beans and veggies better. Thanks!

Albondigas Soup III

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2014
Delicious! Nice and simple flavors and it's hearty enough for a meal by itself. Love the rice in it. I used ground turkey in the hopes of being healthier (ha!) and still tasted good. Also threw in some zucchini and put some diced jalapenos in the meatballs. Thanks!

Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2014
What an awesome and healthier alternative to tuna salad or chicken salad. I added garlic and used green peppers instead of celery. Threw in a little bit of shiracha and used low fat mayo. YUM! Gets better as it sits in the fridge. Will definitely make again. Thanks!

Moroccan Couscous

Reviewed: May 2, 2014
This was fantastic!! The spices were wonderful but don't forget the mint at the end! The mint blends everything together nicely and takes the edge off the strong cloves flavor. Didn't have cardamom and added garlic. Definitely making again thanks!

Mexican Style Shredded Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2014
This was delicious but I made a few changes to it. I added a lot of extra spices like cumin, chili powder, etc and added some chopped onion. Also added a lot more cilantro. It was very tender and I ate it in salad and rice with veggies, yogurt, salsa the works. Thanks!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2014
Great! I was surprised at how simple this recipe is yet it was really delicious. I only made 2 pork chops but used the same amount of sauce and it was enough (I love having plenty to dunk my pork in) so I'd recommend increasing the amount. I also put it in the oven for 35 min. Very juicy and tender! Thanks

Sweet and Spicy Pork and Napa Cabbage Stir-Fry with Spicy Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2014
Great! Added green pepper and shiracha chance since it wasn't spicy enough for me. Also threw an egg on top. Nice and sweet and flavorful! The cabbage and pork were great.

Couscous and Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2013
Yum! Made it and let it chill in the fridge all night and ate it for lunch at work the next day. Really refreshing, healthy, and filling! I added some chopped red pepper and celery for some extra crunch and some feta cheese I had in the fridge. Also added a bit of plain yogurt and lots of chopped mint for some Turkish flavor :) Definitely making again, thanks!

Sweet Pork Slow Cooker Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
Delicious! Best chili recipe I've made. The pineapple and hard cider give it a yummy sweet flavor. Had zucchini so used that instead of pepper. Next time I'll add more curry because I couldn't taste it too much.

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
Yum! Not too overpowering, just right. I used two cloves of garlic and I didn't have garlic chili sauce so I used liberal amounts of sriracha instead. Threw the beans in the skillet and added tomatoes and mushrooms. Yummy over rice!
