Chef John's Minestrone Soup

A very tasty, easy soup to pull together. I made as per the recipe except used Cannelini beans. Judged by all as delicious, but pretty spicy, though not overly so. A keeper recipe.

Potato, Bacon, and Corn Chowder

I (like others mentioned here) used two cups of chicken broth and two cups of milk rather than four cups of milk. Was a good meal for a snowy night. I'll keep this one.

This worked like a charm! Never made this before, but it all fell together nicely. Really yummy and such a great way to make use of all the left turkey. Also, made me feel great to make something ahead for the week.

Alysia's Basic Meat Lasagna

I made this 10/3/11. Used Newman's Sausage and Pepper pasta sauce. Didn't seem like there was enough sauce, even though I spread "thinly". Same with cheese, didn't work out to be enough for a 3rd layer. Ended up making it a two-layer, but it did taste very good and was said by one to be one of the best lasagnas they had eaten.
