Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2014
This was terrific and so tender. I followed it exactly except I didn't have any bay leaves. Even without the bay leaf it was great. I would love to hear what others did with the remaining juices with onion in it. Just whisk in some flour? I've never been a gravy-making girl.

Barbeque Pork Two Ways

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
This was amazing. I made the mistake of grabbing a bone-in pork roast at the market but that bone just added to the flavor. I also mixed all the ingredients together in a bowl first, poured a bit into the crockpot and THEN put the pork in. I couldn't find my mincer so I just chopped the garlic very very fine and threw it in with the rest of the ingredients. Then I poured the rest of the bowl all over the pork roast. I let it cook on low for about 6 hours and it just fell off the bone.

Rita's Sweet Holiday Baked Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
I made this last night for New Year's Eve when we were having about 20 people over. I followed the recipe exactly as written and it was FABULOUS!! There was nothing left and people were asking for the recipe. Putting it in the oven bag really keeps it moist. Really delicious.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
I made these for a few people coming over for a SuperBowl party. I kept to the recipe exactly. Not only were there none left, but I didn't even get to taste one because everyone ate them and were then yelling for more. I was out of wings at that point and know now that these must be made again very soon. Absolutely delcious!

Award Winning Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2005
I just made this recipe for my first SuperBowl party. I tripled the recipe, only used one can of the kidney beans, and made a huge vat of it. I set up a "Chili Bar" with bowls of cheddar cheese, chopped onion and sour cream. There were 42 people in my house and there wasn't one drop of chili left. I saw people eating 2-3 bowls. It was the hit of the party. I agree with my guests when I say this was the best chili I have ever had. Thanks so much for posting it!

These were terrific. I made them for about 8 people and they were gobbled right up. I followed the recipe exactly as written. Great veggie dish and easy to make.

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2004
This was terrific. I followed the recipe exactly and my family loved it. Next time, though, I think I'll just double the recipe and make two - freeze one for next time. Really delicious.

Greek Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2003
These were terrific. I followed the recipe and they came out perfectly. The entire family loved them. The only thing I did was flatten them down a bit on the cookie pan before I baked them. I also bought some sprinkles and red sugar crystals and my 4 year old had a blast decorating them. Thanks so much for this recipe! When I offered them up at Christmas/Hannukah, someone in my family asked me, "What does a Jewish girl know about making Greek butter cookies?" Well, thanks to you, I now know a lot!

Brown Sugar Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2003
These were awesome!! The only thing I did differently was I used butter, not margarine and after the 45 minutes, I turned them over before taking the foil off. 45 mins. may be a little too long depending upon how thin the chops are. Keep a close eye on them. Thanks, Jodi! These were easy and delicious!!

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2003
This was really delicious and not difficult. It's not as creamy as other carbonaras I've ordered in restaurants, but as I said to my husband, "that's probably a good thing!" This was simple, pretty quick, and absolutely scrumptious.
