Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2013
This salad is very flexible, I usually make it with out cheese and sometimes add other fresh veggies like carrots and cucumber, bacon makes everything good!

My-Hop Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2013
Yum! so tender and sweet, these were fantastic. Didn't even need the syrup. Some were complaining that they were a raw gooey mess but I think they must have poured them too thick. The batter doesn't spread much when you pour it so I kind of had to push the batter around too keep them from being too thick but they turned out perfect. I cooked them in my electric fry pan set at 375. I think you could also add a couple of TBLS milk with the buttermilk and thin them out that way too.

Blackened Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I like the way this hides the fishy flavor, I cut the cayenne pepper back to 1 t, 1 Tablespoon seemed like a lot of spice :}

I coat the apples with 1-2 tsp cinnamon sugar mixture and about 1 T flour before I add them to the batter. For the crumb topping I use 3/4 c sugar, 3/4 cup flour, 1 T water, 1 1/2 t cinnamon, 1/4 c butter.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
These always work out for me, I like to add 1 grated orange rind and 1/2 tsp almond extract. Then I "frost" with melted Wilton candy melts.

Really tasty... make sure to soak beans overnight and allow plenty of time to cook or you'll have little crunchy bits :(

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Very Good.... note: this crust thickens up while baking so keep that in mind if you are looking for a thinner crust.

Chocolate Mint Candies Cookies

fantastic, I usually bake these like a brownie in a 9x13 pan for 15-20 mins and dump all the candies on while still fairly warm then swirl them around and serve when cooled.

Snickerdoodles I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I love these, they are my favorite, here is what I did to personalize them: I do half margarine half short, I add a little more flour (so they don't flatten out) I add 1 1/2 t vanilla 1/2 t almond extract.
