Brunch Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2014
I also just added the cream cheese right into the batter. After others saying there was little lemon taste, I added all the zest from the lemon and used the juice from the lemon which was about a 1/2 cup lemon juice and then topped it up with milk to come up with 3/4 cup liquid. Had a lovely lemony flavor.

Bacon-Cheddar Pinwheels

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2014
I will make these again as my company liked them. I used soft dill cream cheese instead of ranch dressing. I used cheddar cheese and bacon. Mine were a bit boring so next time I will add a few more ingredients - a little garlic, perhaps sundries tomatoes & some spices to heat them up a bit.

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2014
Loved this. I made it for Book Club with a few changes. I halved the batter but kept the full amount of apples. Used a smaller pan. The brown sugar/ butter topping made the cake. I have also made this with rhubarb Nd it is just as good.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2014
Delicious! I doubled the sugar & honey and halved the hot sauce. Left the soya sauce as listed. I made it early in the day, poured the sauce over the chicken and put it on a low heat in the oven so that the Flavors would have time to mix.

Onions Baked with Rosemary and Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2014
I took them to a Pot Luck and there wasn't a drop left. They are very rich but delicious. I took off the skins prior to baking and they kept their shape!

Chocolate Zucchini Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2012
Delicious muffins! I substituted 1/2 oil for applesauce. I put in 1/2 white flour and 1/2 whole wheat flour plus 2Tbsp. Omega Hearts(hulled hemp seeds). I just used cinnamon but put in 1 tsp. also I substituted almond flavoring for vanilla. Be sure and try almond flavoring sometime as it is a lovely combination with chocolate.

Mom's Warm Milk

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
This is a lovely bedtime drink. However it does NOT need any sugar//honey/sweetener at all . Remember that milk already has sugar in it. 2% has 12g and even 1% has 11 g per one cup serving.
