I made this twice. the first time I didnt realize I was out of milk and didnt have enough eggs when I went shopping, I made it anyways using extra sour cream and a bit of water. It actually turned out great. I took it out of the oven after it resting an hour cause it needed to be cold by night. It was a hit
The next time i made it, i followed directions like a bible, thinking it might even be better. I left it in the oven for 6 hours after turning off the oven. When I returned it was a shriveled up, nasty, thick skined, funny textured mess. Well it wasnt cracked . . . but who cares what it looks like when it tastes so bad. The kids wont eat it, my boyfriend and my dog will, they will eat anything.
