Brunch Omelet Torte

I fried the potatoes/onions the night before. Also browned sausage because my new pkg. of ham didn't smell right. Was good flavor with the sausage, but I will use more spices next time. Made in springform pan assembling everything in the morning. I would caution that once the puff pastry is thawed, if it gets too warm it's very hard to unfold. Presentation was awesome and everybody loved it.

Easy Vodka Sauce

Didn't have pancetta on hand so used partially cooked bacon. This was wonderful with shrimp added and served over pasta.

I have eaten *too many* of these...they are wonderful. I made half a recipe and used mini chocolate chips...the chocolate is more spread out and it takes far less than 2 cups.

Chewiest Brownies

I'm not sure about this recipe. Made as directed, I thought they were too chocolatey and a little too sweet. Tried it again cutting back to 3/4 c. cocoa and 1 1/2 c. sugar, used l/2 oil, 1/2 butter. Baked for the same amount of time and they are hard. Will used as a base for 'Death by Chocolate'
