I too am glad that I looked at other's reviews before starting. I found that freezing the cabbage made it easier to take off the head, and then I boiled the leaves. I used lean hamburger but added garlic salt to the recipe instead of salt. For the sauce I used to cans of tomato soup, undiluted, and added honey and worcestire sauce to that. I placed of layer of cabbage in the bottom of the crockpot and layered the cabbage rolls and the soup mixture. Started the crock pot out on high and then dropped to low after 2 hours for another 2 hours. My family loves them.
