I did and my husband and i loved it (which is saying something since i wouldn't choose to eat beef. But he loves it so it better be good when i make it & we eat)
I used a loaf pan and when i took mine out of the oven there was quite a bit of liquid around the loaf which surprised me but i drained it before serving and the meat was very moist. I also put in 1 minced garlic clove, used half an onion and that was just fine, however the only thing i had in the house was Ritz crackers and those didn't seem to hold up as well.. They seemed to disappear. i'll probably go for real bread crumbs or more substantial crackers next time (we crushed some on top & that was a great addition).
For my sauce i followed the recipe and then added hot sauce, BBQ sauce and some salt&pepper
