very good - make sure oil is hot or else breading breaks off (the ones i did at the end were much better then the ones i made in the beginning).

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
amazing dish! used turkey bacon to cut fat a little - cooked onion after cooked bacon (since turkey bacon produces less oil). added a little milk to eggs (like 1/3 - 1/2 cup). next time will use red bell pepper to add some color. i had to cook it a little longer for it to set (maybe cuz of the milk? who knows?) but truly an absolutely delicious meal!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: May 2, 2006
i loved this recipe! i tripled it and made it for my sister's baby shower and everyone loved it!! i did make some alterations: i used crushed tomatoes instead of spaghetti sauce and i added garlic and basil to the tomatoes. i also used sliced mozarella and sliced provolone cuz it was easier :-) thanks for the great recipe!!!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2006
i thought this recipe was quite good - my stepfather LOVED it. i added some bacon (since we were having a spinach salad as well) and minced onion (instead of powder). i used more cayenne pepper then was called for (cuz we like spicy!). i didnt find that i had too much creamcheese leftover - i think this was because i used large muchrooms.

Green Beans with Anchovies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2005
so good! i sauteed the anchovy with the oil and butter first (b/c then the anchovy dissolves and your left with that great salty taste and no one complaining about eating little fish!). then i added water and beans and boiled - so good!!

WE LOVED THIS RECIPE!!! i added some sauteed onions (that i was already making for the cajun meatloaf - which is a great paring for this recipe!). i thought it needed to be cooked a little longer then 20 min and i mixed the milk and egg before pouring in.

Greek Potato Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
great recipe - at first i wasnt so sure because it looked so unappetizing but my sister loved it and she is THE hardest person to cook for. i added onions and sauteed them for about 15 min in the olive oil (while i was cutting up the potatoes) i added an extra clove of garlic (although it was pureed, not minced) and i mashed up most of the potatoes. my sister and brother-in-law fought over who got to take the rest for lunch tomorrow!!
