Baked Denver Omelet

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2013
I made this a little differently than the recipe reads. I microwaved some frozen spinach, squeezed out the water, and made 6 slices of bacon and chopped it up. I mixed the 8 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, spinach, bacon and about 1 cup of shredded Mexican cheese. I poured it into a buttered 9" cake pan. 400 oven for 25 minutes. Turned upside down on a plate it slid right out. It was tasty but dry. Next time I'll add more milk. It was really easy and next time it will be 5 stars.

Hungarian Goulash II

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
My husband told me to make sure I add a review and mark it 5 stars. He loved it. I made it for company and it was a big hit. It was made exactly as written and served over buttered egg noodles. Great recipe I'll be making many times.

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
This was excellent! My husband and his 91 year old Dad loved it. I'll definitely be making it again. I loaded shredded Cheddar and Mexican cheese onto each breast. I had mixed cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups and poured it over the chicken. Sprinkled lots of bread crumbs and drizzled melted butter over everything and it was the most delicious and tender we have had in a long time. No knives needed. This is definitely a recipe we will be making over and over.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
This soup is absolutely delicious. The only things I did differently was to throw in some corn left over from Thanksgiving dinner and change the chicken bouillon granules to two vegetable bouillon cubes crushed. Big hit with my husband!

I went by the ingredients in the recipe but used the hint to use the food processor. They were a big hit and I know I will be making them frequently.

Kielbasa with Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
Easy and great tasting. I used two green peppers, one onion, two large cloves of garlic, olive oil and one large can of diced tomatoes with basil and oregano along with the kielbasa. I also used half pound of elbows cooked al dente and added it to the saute pan. Served with parmesano reggiano. It was a big hit and I'll be making it again.

Country Pound Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
This was just the best tasting pound cake I have had in a long time. The crust was so good and the middle so soft. I'll be making this many more times.
