Creamy Wild Rice Chicken Casserole

This is wonderful comfort food! Served with green beans and a salad. I was concerned that the alfredo sauce would overpower the rice, but it blended so nicely for a great change from ordinary mushroom soup sauces. It had much more kick and flavor! Like other reviewers, I added the melted butter to the cracker crumbs and shook in a plastic baggie to coat, mostly out of habit. It gave it a nice crunchy topping. The only thing I changed was to sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese on top after it came out of the oven...and that is just because we are big cheese lovers. :) I will definitely make again, with broccoli or peas or carrots added in... Tons of possibilities to use leftover veggies! Thanks for a simple yet delicious recipe to add to my supper rotation!

Best Brownies

These turned out really well... As others advised, do not overbake. 25 min was perfect. I did add about a half cup of semi-sweet chips, just because chocoholics live here. Frosting was perfect. I will use this one again and again as a base recipe.... Can't wait to add nuts, or peanut butter chips, mint chocolate, caramel... the possibilities are endless! Thanks!

Berdean's Cube Steak

I took the advice of some of the others, and after browning the cube steaks I sauteed some onions and fresh mushrooms in the skillet. I added 2 T. Amish beef base and 1 1/2 cups of water to the onions/mushrooms and simmered them about 5 minutes before pouring it over the cube steaks in a casserole dish. Baked at 325 for about an hour and a half, then took the steaks out and added about 2 T. flour to the juice to make a nice onion/mushroom gravy. Very tender and flavorful, but glad I took them out at 90 minutes. I think 2 hours would have made them too dry. Very nice way to do something different with a normally ho-hum cut of meat. Thanks for the recipe and to the other reviewers for their suggestions. Will definitely make again!

Chicken Breasts Supreme

Fixed this for dinner, followed recipe exactly. It's definitely a different flavor, but it was very good. Served with garlic rice and green beans. Will definitely make again.

Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

This is really creamy and really good! I too only used one package of cream cheese, and I substituted jalepeno for the green chilies, but only because we like a little heat. I only used about half of the can of diced tomatoes, but that is just a personal preference as well. Very tasty...Mexican food is my "comfort food", and this definitely fills the bill!
